“Wanaka is one of the most exciting travel destinations I have seen in 19 years as Travel Editor at Scoop, and the Dacha equally impressive for its luxury, design, location and endless range of activites. I will be returning with family in the near future.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Dacha. It has been thoughtfully designed and cleverly crafted to maximise Wanaka’s magnificent scenery. Relaxing in luxury and seclusion, surrounded by stunning scenery over afternoon drinks and canapés was delightful. The accomodation was of the highest standard; the staff were exceptional and the personal chef prepared mouth watering meals which showcased the magnificent offerings of the region. We took a dip in the pool, relaxed in the spa, explored some walking trails, went kayaking, and also ventured into nearby adventure-packed- Queenstown. Great experience. The Dacha is a must stay!”

“As you drive into the grounds of The Dacha you are overwhelmed with the wow factor. Then when you walk inside you can’t help but feel immediately relaxed as the abundance, luxury and comfort overtakes you. The brochures and literature of this wonderful venue do not do it justice. The Dacha is a magnificent home built overlooking beautiful Lake Wanaka that offers privacy with each bedroom having uninterrupted views of the lake with luxurious bathrooms attached. It is quite simply the perfect get away being the ideal retreat for a family holiday or an outstanding venue for friends to get together. The Dacha staff that are passionate about their work and do not leave any aspiration or requirement of its guests wanting. The chef cooks with local produce while the wines from the local district are just to die for. We certainly will be visiting the Dacha again.”
“The quality of the location, the furnishings, the service and the facilities, it’s hard to believe that the Dacha hasn’t been fulfilling the needs of demanding travellers for decades. With everything New Zealand has to offer at your doorstep (and that view!), the hardest part of my day was deciding what to do next. It’s a balancing act between visiting fine restaurants and wineries, getting physical exercise on or around the lake, or just lazing by the pool and contemplating the scenery (and your luck at being here). Whatever I chose, the small professional support team made sure it happened seamlessly. A timeless place for all seasons.”
